MadeGood foods was the first allergy-friendly brand that I have ever tried. They make all kinds of granola and granola bars, along with other treats like crispy squares and soft baked cookies. In this blog post, I will be reviewing their granola bars and granola minis. Spoiler alert — they’re amazing!

Chocolate Chip Granola Bars

Let’s start out with my all time favorite product from MadeGood: their chocolate chip granola bars. This tastes SO good. Let me put it this way: it doesn’t taste allergy friendly at all! I have tried non allergy friendly (but, of course, nut free) chocolate chip granola bars by Cascadian Farms, and I can’t tell the difference between the Cascadian Farms ones and the MadeGood ones. That’s how you know that an allergy friendly product is really good!
Chocolate Chip Granola Minis

On the topic of chocolate, I also tried MadeGood’s chocolate chip granola minis. These taste the exact same as the granola bar version, just smaller.
Sweet and Salty Granola Bars

These should probably be called Sunbutter granola bars, because that is what this granola bar tastes like. This granola bar tastes like Sunbutter with a hint of chocolate from the chocolate chips in it. If you like more of a sweet, chocolatey flavor, I would recommend the chocolate chip granola bars. There were not many chocolate chips in here. However, this granola bar is still pretty good!
Mixed Berry Granola Minis
I tried this MadeGood product before I started nallergy, which is why I don’t have a picture of it. This granola mini tasted like mixed berry, as you would expect. This one was my least favorite, but that is just because I don’t like berry flavored granola bars/minis that much; the other people in my family who tried this liked it.
Strawberry Granola Minis

This one was not my favorite. It tastes like strawberries, but artificial strawberries. MadeGood doesn’t use artificial flavoring, so I know it’s not that. But these still taste artificial. These weren’t bad, but I personally wouldn’t buy these again.
Overall, MadeGood has a lot of awesome and allergy-friendly back to school treats. I would recommend this brand to someone who doesn’t even have a food allergy, and I would recommend MadeGood even more to someone who does have a food allergy. It doesn’t even taste allergy-friendly, which is amazing considering the fact that it is top 8 free!
